The Process We Follow for Stained Concrete

Here is a closer look at the process we follow when providing stained concrete services:

  1. Before we get started on the project, you’ll need to pick the type of stain you want and the color. Once you pick out the stain, we’ll start by preparing the surface. To ensure the quality of the finished product, we will meticulously remove any residue on the surface of your concrete.
  2. Once the concrete surface is prepared, we’ll get to work applying the actual stain. We’ll mask off the area and then spray or brush on the first coat, letting it fully dry before applying additional layers.
  3. After we apply the stain, we will need to clean the concrete. This typically involves cleaning the surface with water, neutralizing the stain, and then loosening any stubborn residue off before the final rinsing.
  4. Following the cleanup process, the stain will need to set and dry (usually overnight). Once this happens, we can apply a sealant to the top. This sealant will ensure the reliability of the stain and protect it from foot traffic, extreme weather, and debris over time.
